On Whispered Curses (Review on GoodReads)

Holy smokes this was phenomenal. The whole premise of the magic and the Otherkind in general was awesome but THESE CHARACTERS. Lyra was incredible and obviously she had a lot of defensive qualities based on the way her life had been, but she really forged strong connections with Griffin and Aldric. Griffin was just so grumpy and sweet and warm and I would do anything for him. Aldric was basically dripping with charisma but he wasn’t obnoxious about it at all. He was the perfect blend of soft and sexy if that makes sense. There’s so much chemistry in this book it’s basically a lab. No seriously though, the tension between Griffin and Lyra and Aldric and Lyra was electric. This was pretty low spice, not that there wasn’t really good spice, there just wasn’t that much of it, but what we got was fantastic. Thorne, more like thorn in my damn side. The way this ended has me absolutely gagged and I need book two ASAP.
